VS Code Codicons
The official ~500 SVG icon set used inside Visual Studio Code, designed by Microsoft. Perfect for developer tools and IDE-style interfaces.
Codicons is the official icon library of Visual Studio Code, maintained by Microsoft and used throughout the VS Code UI, extensions API, and developer tooling ecosystem. The set covers everything needed for a code editor interface - file types, Git operations, debug controls, terminal symbols, notifications, layout controls, accessibility indicators, and product logos. Icons are designed as clean monochrome SVGs and are also distributed as an icon font with unicode codepoints, making them ideal for VS Code extension development. Available via npm as @vscode/codicons, and directly usable in any web project as SVG or font. Icons are licensed under CC BY 4.0 - attribution to Microsoft Corporation is required. Code and tooling in the repository is MIT licensed.
